What?
Join us for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2.0, a continuation of the successful Green Campus event organized by the University of Gävle (Sweden), the University of Évora (Portugal), and NMS (Bulgaria), with local support from MG Sustainable Engineering. This intensive 4-day program will focus on sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship, featuring classes, challenges, case studies, and LAB visits in Gävle.
Where?
University of Gävle, Gävle, Sweden (1h20min north of Stockholm). Accommodation will be provided for participants residing outside Gävle.
When?
From 2nd to 5th September, 2024.
Mission and Focus
Building on the AIM project's success, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2.0 aims to cultivate bright ideas into actionable concepts, merging innovation and entrepreneurship with a steadfast focus on sustainability and renewable energy. Participants will engage in an environment fostering creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions to global challenges.
Host Institutions
The University of Gävle, renowned for its commitment to human-centered education and technological advancement, provides the ideal setting for this forward-looking event. With a strong emphasis on sustainable living environments and cutting-edge research in energy systems, the University offers fertile ground for exploration and innovation.
MG Sustainable Engineering, leveraging its extensive experience in managing European Research Projects and pioneering renewable energy solutions, brings invaluable expertise. Through R&D initiatives and solar consulting services, MG is actively shaping the future of sustainable energy.
The Challenge
In a world grappling with climate change, resource scarcity, and social inequality, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2.0 underscores the imperative role of innovation and entrepreneurship in addressing these challenges. This event reaffirms our commitment to pushing boundaries and aligning efforts with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030, thereby paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future.
Fees?
4000 SEK. Scholarships covering course tuition, accommodation, lunches, and fika will be awarded to outstanding candidates.
